If you end up watching entertainment reality shows and expecting to grow from doing so, you are kidding.
Reality TV shows are not mainly true to the core. Some of them have a sprinkle of fiction in them, while others have a sprinkle of reality. Here are some of the shows which professional and beginner entrepreneurs shouldn’t miss out on:
Silicon Valley
It shows an entrepreneur how to face the problems of starting a business and gives a detailed view of what goes on in our immediate environment. It is a tech reality show that fully displays the relations we have with life and work.
The main character had little or no idea about what it was like to transform an idea into a business, so you are not alone if you find yourself in that category. Don’t go hard on yourself, as you might be just like the main character here, who needs some time to learn how to turn your idea into businesses that would benefit you financially.
Fyre
This is one of the biggest entrepreneurial parties that was a fail. However, it shows entrepreneurs what they shouldn’t attempt to do to gain a name for themselves.

This show exposes companies who use degrading ingredients in manufacturing products, i.e., consumers. It gives a reason for the low price tag behind a product.
They go behind the scenes of the manufacturing process to show entrepreneurs and consumers what goes on when they’re not watching. It also encourages them to make better decisions when buying products.
Workin’ Moms
As a mom with a well-paying job and a family to take care of, there might be a huge burden trying to shuffle everything in-between. Having to go to work after dealing with a crying baby isn’t an easy task, and most times, it leaves the mother stressed out.
Most of the complaints you hear from working moms in the subway, in church, at an event, etc., are all true and reflect what is truly going on with them. Naturally, as a woman, competition is inevitable. Now, guess what it’s like to be a mother handling a job and a child simultaneously.
No matter how silly jokes are made about how stressful being a working mom can be, there is always a truth to it. And, these jokes seem to make it less burdensome for the working moms.

It is a cryptocurrency startup show with some criticisms at the first season’s release but later got accepted by its viewers as more episodes were released. Viewers were eager to start the next episode as most of the situations were similar to theirs. A Korean version of this series shows how criticism is essential in any business and how important it is to understand it while growing your business.
Jiro Dreams of Sushi
Jiro, who was 95 years at the time of the documentary, is a very talented chef and is especially good at making Sushi.
Restaurant Impossible
Robert Irvine, a restaurant owner, takes it upon himself to transform restaurants after staying and observing them for two days with a budget of $10,000. He later changes them to eateries where people would want to go to. One significant advantage of this is that he knows what he is doing.
Girl Boss
This series is an autobiography of the CEO of a clothing line, Sophia Amoruso. It only lasted a season since only the actual good side of her life was shown, leaving out her flaws. As explained at the start, this is one reality show with a sprinkle of fiction.
Planet of the Apps
This show focuses primarily on software developers and helps to enlighten them and open their eyes more to the world of software development. It involves software developers presenting their apps in a minute to public figures. Although the show only stayed for a season, it is still an exciting show for entrepreneurs to watch.
Shark Tank
This is one popular reality show you might have come across. It mainly involves entrepreneurs who are trying to convince investors to invest money in their products. However, it clearly shows the challenges entrepreneurs pass through on their way up.
Tabitha Takes Over
This series is just like how the baking reality shows are run. But, in this case, the contestants are given limited time to dress hair and then judged by Tabitha Coffey. She guides businesses who are going astray to keep up their business name.

As we all know, LA is one famous city in the USA, and this show focuses on the competitive nature of real estate deals in LA. There is also a reality TV show, Selling New York, that follows the footsteps of this fantastic series.

Like its name, the main character in the show picks bars that are gradually falling and transforms them within three days into something spectacular. Hidden cameras are hidden different parts of the bar to capture everything going on and noticing the destructive behaviors that the people at the bar don’t seem to let go of.
Finally, the main character advises the bar owner and follows up on the growth of his bar before moving on to the next bar.
