Never Doubt Yourself Anymore

Why is it that we tend to doubt ourselves before making a tremendous move or making life-changing decisions? Why do we always question our capabilities and potential achievements when we know ourselves better than anyone? Or better yet, what do you still doubt yourself?

Undeniably, we all have a little psychic fight on what we can or cannot do and the things that we should or shouldn’t do. It’s like there are two sides of ourselves that either motivate or discourage us from doing something. But which one do you keep listening to?

Doubts are sometimes mistaken as fear.

We fear about what other people might say, how a particular event can make us feel, or how it can prolong reaching our dreams.

“What if I fail? “What if I end up being a disappointment?” What if I cannot finish it? “What if people laugh at me?” These are just some of the words we might hear from the little voices in our minds in order to find faults and justify self-doubts.

But little do people know doubts are a normal part of our thinking, not unless you’re narcissistic.

Doubts can even help us be cautious in making drastic decisions and protect ourselves from humiliation. Yet, it could be perilous if taken too far, hindering us in taking a step forward towards our goal.

How many experiences have you heard about letting an opportunity go just because they thought they’re not enough or some better people can do it better? And it’s not just about secular achievements in school or in our offices.

Self-doubt can impose a massive wall in every aspect of our lives!

What if you’ve already had the perfect medicine to cure cancer? What if you already propose a plan to stop wars and promote world peace? But because of your doubt, you’re not allowing people to see how talented and skillful you are as a being.

The easiest and realistic thing we can do is embrace the doubts we have for ourselves and other people. We should realize that we would all keep making mistakes as imperfect humans, whether big or small.

AND IT IS OKAY!

Explore. Explore. Explore.

Mistakes happen so we can learn better and make better decisions next time. It didn’t happen just so we can repeat the same thing all over. It can make us more courageous in getting out of our comfort zone and trying out the best of our abilities to prove our worth not just for the world but for ourselves alone.

And so what if other people don’t recognize our effort? So what if they keep teasing us from our failure? Remember, the best people to keep around are those who can positively influence you.

When we see the importance of gaining our approval rather than other people’s, we would lessen our self-doubts and take risks about everything we do.

At the end of the day, what you think about yourself is all that matters.

So what if you try to turntables and say, “What if I can make it?” What if they chose me to be in this position because they knew what I am capable of?” What if I can help other people by doing this or doing that?”‘

Having a clear thought about what you want to achieve in life and setting a goal can help you fight your doubts or fears and risk everything you have to grab that only one chance you have in mind.

So the next time you try to doubt yourself, take a big long breath, and JUST DO IT! You’re not alone in this fight. We’re with you!
