SEO in 2023: My New Strategy for Google Traffic

SEO is constantly changing and it’s hard to keep up with the shifts. While everyone knows that SEO is important for getting traffic from a search engine like Google, how do you stay ahead of the curve?

In this blog post, I’ll share with you my latest strategy for SEO in 2023. We will cover everything from keyword research to on-page optimization tactics. With this guide, you’ll have all the tools you need to get your website ranking on Google and start driving more organic traffic than ever before!

Strategy 1: Create Perfectly Optimized Articles for Google Traffic

Creating perfectly optimized articles for Google traffic is not as difficult as it may seem. There are a few simple guidelines to follow that can make a big difference in your traffic levels.

  • Use keyword-rich titles. Your title should be reflective of the main keyword or phrase you want to rank for. This will help Google understand what your article is about and index it accordingly.
  • Utilize keywords throughout the body. In addition to using keywords in the title, be sure to use them throughout the body of the article as well. However, don’t overdo it – a few strategically placed keywords will do the trick.
  • Take advantage of Google Authorship. Google Authorship is a great way to increase your chances of ranking high in SERPs. By claiming your articles, you’re essentially telling Google that you’re an expert on the subject matter and that they should pay attention to your content.
  • Promote your content. Don’t just write an article and hope people will find it – promote it! Share it on social media, post it in forums, submit it to directories… get the word out there and watch your traffic (and rankings) skyrocket.

Don’t also forget to article outline that is superior to your competition. Make sure to develop a good headline structure and your ideal word count. Get more headings to add to your outline.

Strategy 2: Become a Topical Authority in Google Search Engine

Google’s search algorithm is ever-changing, and keeping up with the latest changes can be a challenge. However, there are a few tried-and-true methods for improving your website’s ranking in Google search results. One of the best ways to improve your ranking is to become a topical authority on the subject matter of your website.

A topical authority is a website that is recognized by Google as being an expert on a particular topic. When you become a topical authority, Google will give your website preferential treatment in the search results. This means that your website will appear higher in the search results for related keywords, which can lead to increased traffic and conversions.

For instance, you want to write an article on how to start a business and you successfully wrote the best article that the world has ever seen. You got powerful entrepreneurs like Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates to co-author the article. Unless you post the article on a website that has already established itself for posting a lot of business content.

So how do you become a topical authority? There are a few things you can do:

  • Write high-quality, informative content on your chosen topic. Make sure your content is well-researched and provides value to readers.
  • Build links from other websites to yours. Google uses links as a signal of trustworthiness, so the more links you have to point to your site, the better. Try guest posting on other blogs or participating in forums and leaving link bait (informative articles or videos that are likely to be linked to).
  • Get involved in social media. Social media signals also play a role in Google’s ranking algorithm, so make sure you have an active presence on platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Google+.

Generating a topical map is also necessary to succeed in becoming a topical authority. And of course, you seal the deal by interlinking relevant articles together— remember to link more to the topic centerpiece.

Strategy 3: Create a Link Building Plan

To boost traffic and take your search engine optimization strategy to the next level, you need to have a link-building plan that the Google algorithm loves.

In generic SEO tutorials, you would hear things like, “Link building is dead,” “You don’t need backlinks to acquire Google traffics anymore,” etc. However, having a strong backlink profile will help you in getting messed with in Google algorithm updates. The reason behind this is E.A.T. (Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trust).

E.A.T. are the three requirements that showed up about 130 times in Google’s quality rate guidelines. Google itself that E.A.T. is a quote largely based on links.

In 2023, it would be a good idea to build 40% guest post links, 30% insertion links, 15% links from Health Reporter Out and Haro, 10% comes from digital PR, 3% from business directory citations, and 2% from link exchanges.

Here are extra tips for link building:

  • Decide on your goals. What do you want to achieve with your link-building campaign? Do you want to increase your search engine rankings, or drive more traffic to your website? Once you know what you want to accomplish, you can tailor your strategy accordingly.
  • Research your competition. See who’s currently ranking ahead of you in the search engines, and take a look at their backlinks. What kind of links do they have? Where are they coming from? You can use this information to help plan your own link-building campaign.
  • Create content that others will want to link to. If you want people to link to your website, you need to give them a reason to do so. Creating high-quality content is one of the best ways to get people interested in linking to your site.
