Today I want to share with you a way with which you can go and make at least 100 dollars a day by using free websites! There are a lot of people that I shared this with on my Facebook group where they have commented on their experiences.

I will be diving into this entire method and break it down for you. This is something you can do from anywhere in the world. You can do this as long as you have an internet connection. I am not going to guarantee that your result will be the same. But as you can see, people have implemented these methods and found a way to earn! These are exceptional works and you can do it too!
Shared hosting account
For this, you need to look out for business owners who do not have a website yet! All you need is a free template to make them a website, even if you are not a web developer of any sort. You need not know to program for this!
To get hold of these free templates, all you need is a shared hosting account.
Now, if you are not familiar with what hosting is, hosting is basically like a server space that you rent that allows someone to visit a website online. What we can do is we can rent a shared hosting account which is quite cheap.
They only run upwards from 3 dollars to 10 dollars a month. Sometimes you can even find them for a dollar a month. When you get one of these, you will give the businesses free websites. Each shared hosting account can be shared with a lot of people depending on the plan.
Say you share your hosting account with 10 businesses and ask for 20 dollars each, you will be receiving a huge profit as opposed to the investment you have made. So, you are going to be giving away a free website to a business owner that needs it and going to make some good money doing this but also helping a lot of people with it!
So, the entire business revolves around the fact that you give your client a free website and earn only for hosting! If you implement this perfectly, it is going to be a 100 dollar per day business for sure.
How to go forward with hosting?
To pull this business off, you will be making use of a free website builder called “WordPress”. This is not the WordPress that you go to through your browser. This is the WordPress that is built right within your host.
Most web hosting companies will come with WordPress that you can install and use directly for developing your website. It is free software that comes bundled with your software.
It gives us drag and drops editor and I will share with you how to use this editor so that you can go out and get these clients who are ready to give their money to you to host their website once you design it for free!
How to use the WordPress editor?
Once you download WordPress, your website looks very basic out of the box. The first thing you will see is the backend, where you will be editing your website according to the needs of the client.
If at any point you wish to see how it looks on the internet, highlight the little “home” icon on the top left and click visit site.
You will get the view of the website out of the box which will not be the most appealing to any business owner.
I will give you a few steps to make you understand how to customize the website and make it look clean and appealing. It typically takes only a few minutes once you get the hang of it and helps you make websites without you being a website designer.
To start with, go to “Appearance and Themes” and it will give you a variety of templates to choose from for the website. Some are already installed.
Go to “Add New” and you will get a lot of other options to choose from. Search the template according to your choice and install it as per the requirement.
All themes are laid differently and customizable. Choose the theme you like, install and click “Activate”.
Every theme has an option of “Customize.”
A few times when you install a theme, it might ask you to install their plugins. If you want, you can install those plugins.
When you hit “Customize”, there are a variety of options available like the “Site Identity” option that allows you to change the name of the site.
You can change fonts, colors, background images. There are “Home Page” settings. You can also add customized icons.
What I like to do to earn more is I like to include around three or four pages in my initial price. For hosting, I will charge them 20 dollars a month and maybe make them pay 200 dollars for a year because I am setting up the website for free. The entire thing will include 3 or 4 pages.
I will give you some tips later to earn more money, but right now I will guide you through how to add pages.
- Come under “Pages”.
- Click “Add new”.
- Name your page as you wish.
- Add the next page in the same way.
- All of them will go live immediately.
Design all the pages according to the requirement of your client. Add icons to make them attractive. Add a background image to make a greater impact. Make sure the images you end up using are royalty-free which means you don’t have to pay for it. The website “pexels.com” is a great website for this. Find the “Featured Image” on your page and you will get your background picture up!
All of it comes together in just a few minutes! All that is needed is to edit the content and that is provided by the client.
How can you get business owners to pay you for this and also upsell your work?
Now that you know how to build a website, you need to visit Instagram or Twitter, or any other social media websites and look for businesses, reach out to them and offer them a free website.
Everyone is going to wonder, what’s the catch, why would you offer them a free website? Tell them you are offering this because you want to build up your portfolio and they just have to pay for the hosting.
This knocks down objections of why you are doing it for free and you are still making money on the hosting. Because of this, they are not going to have a problem. You are going to make decent money even if you charge them upfront, giving them 2 months free!
How to make even more money?
- Charge an extra 100 dollars per extra page.
You can start with 3 to 4 pages like the home page, the about page, and a contact us page. But if they want a services page too, charge an extra 100 dollars per extra page.
- 5 dollars per month per custom email.
When you host a website, they will have their domain name. They could have their emails. For example, if the company’s domain is bobsplumbing.com, the emails could be like office@bobsplumbing.com or bob@bobsplumbing.com. Even if you make 5 custom emails a month, you will make an extra 25 dollars per month.
- 500 dollars to optimize Google My Business Profile
You can easily ask for an extra 500 dollars to optimize their Google My Business profile.
Charge on the on-page SEO and many other options are available too!
The only tip is to not over complicate things. This is a strategy that will help you go from zero to earning around 100 dollars a day if you are outreaching and getting clients!
