How Did Successful Vloggers Start?

But do you also wonder how much do Youtubers make or what’s their secret? For instance, Graham Stephan, a 30-year-old real estate agent, and investor who worked in the industry after turning 18.

He started his channel with the goal of confidently sharing his journey, process, and experiences in the real estate industry. And most especially, to inspire his audience who have plans to enter it and eventually help others acquire a financially stable life.

But before reaching these whopping amounts of two and a half million subscribers, he started from scratch and humble beginnings. He also had a fair share of his doubts and fears.

Graham shared an excerpt from his Reddit post a few years ago saying: “I don’t have the personality or charisms to start my own channel. I am not the type that would do well in front of the camera.” But look at him on where he is now.

In the Christmas of December 2016, although he had no idea of what he is doing, he still enthusiastically started his channel that primarily focuses on the business and financial niche. However, he was hindered by his fear that no one would be interested in his videos, but he still pushed through, and the result was positive.

In fact, he was inspired to do more when he witnessed how people are interested in this industry. He simultaneously did this with his work as a real estate agent, and every night he would edit and think of the videos that he would post. More so, for him, Youtube became the outlet of his emotions.

At first, Graham made NOTHING and intentionally turned off the monetize option in his account because he was worried that it would compromise his video content. However, he turned it on again because he thought Youtube would recommend more monetized content.

How Much Do YouTubers Make?

In January 2017, he made his first 0.7 cents, but he still persevered and posted three consecutive videos weekly. Then, he started earning an average of dollars every day.

A few months later, his earnings started to grow more to $10-30 because he had high user engagement and consistently uploaded quality content. By doing such, the Youtube algorithm was in his favor escalating his earnings to an average of $120 per day. After that, he felt that he already found his purpose. Thus, he crafted more content, and everything aligned together. He worked harder even though he had another full-time job.

He reaped the harvest of his dedication and passion as a content creator in 2017 as he gained a total estimated revenue of $26,966.69. A year after, things perked up even more, and the views and subscribers in his channel snowballed.

Earnings from YouTube

In April 2018, most days, Graham earned from $200-$350 in ad revenue, and in July of the same year, it even reached $800 a day, yet the views went down, but the trend was consistent.

Meanwhile, in November 2018, he decided to film an unboxing video of the most exclusive credit card, the $10 million JP Morgan Reserve that took the Youtube community by storm. This boosted his subscribers’ count and revenue up to $3,420 a day.

High Earnings from YouTube

Also, in that year, he acquired $170,956.60 from Youtube ads revenue alone.

Graham soon realized that the niche he created contents about has a wide market, so he gave his 100% and took things seriously and strategically. He also started his secondary channel, The Graham Stephen Content, to diversify his videos and earn more.

He clearly recalled when he consistently posted videos every day and the sleepless nights he experienced to post them without breaking his consistency streak, which eventually paid off.

In the early stages of 2019, things significantly changed when he filmed a video of the process in how he purchased a car, the Tesla Model 3, for $78 a month. In April 2019, he made $6,900 in a span of 24 hours because of it.

What’s more, in that year, he earned his first more than a million in his two channels solely from Youtube ads revenue because of his dedication to producing substantial content.

How’s Everything Today?

Things continued to snowball this year. Every day he earns an average of 3,000 to 4,000 USD despite his anticipation of a decline in Youtube ad revenue because people became more interested in the intricacies of business, economy, and finance.

Last May, his daily revenue attained $10,000. This event motivated him to be more consistent in posting videos, including a podcast channel with his colleagues called the Iced Coffee Hour.

The question is, how much he has already made with all his three channels so far this year? Well, these channels have generated a massive amount of $1.8 million, not yet to mention the earnings he gets from his sponsorships, program sales, and affiliates. Once those are added, then he will have over 4 MILLION DOLLARS!

How to be reach from YouTube

Can you imagine the financial stability this amount can give you? It is almost limitless for an ordinary person like you, right? That is the reason why Graham is immensely grateful to all his subscribers who supported him ever since.
