Why Millionaires Get What They Want

If I would ask you ‘how many people do you know that would be interested in investing in your business?’, what would your answer be? You might probably say one or two. Others might even say none at all.

It’s a highly interesting fact that hundreds or even thousands of people are acquainted with every day in our lives. Some are those fellow members of the gym we workout at, some are in the same coffee shop we took our coffee in the afternoon, or some are just simply passersby. Do you know that all of them could be your potential clients? But how?

Start By Communicating

The only way we can learn more about a certain person is through communication. We need to talk to people! A simple ‘hello’ could make so much difference. Additional follow-up questions would lead the way to a more prosperous conversation.

For instance, if you’re selling a health membership card, why not go to the gym, and start a conversation with everyone you see. They’re in the gym, after all! Every single one of them is health-conscious and could be your prospect. In the middle of your conversation, try to segway the topic, and promote your ‘health membership card,’ and let them understand the importance of getting one. If they’re not interested, then they might know someone who would be interested. This is the ‘hope’ that we’re looking for – prospects. Start the question with, “Who do you know that…”.

Meaning to say they might know a single person or two who would be interested in what you offer. From there, you can potentially get a prospect who you could meet up for a coffee and sales pitch.

Those ‘who do you know that..’ can follow a lot of simple phrases such as ‘Who do you know that wants to live a fitness life but don’t know where to begin?’ or “Who do you know that would be interested in creating a realistic healthy meal and follow a workout set for the next several months?’.

Believe me, among the 30 people you meet in the gym today, can get you at least one (or hopefully more) to buy your health membership card. That’s how a millionaire works!

What if you’re not in Sales?

The art of selling is not just how long you’ve studied business management or entrepreneurial courses in college. Although experience and greater knowledge are highly significant, you can always start with a simple conversation and effectively try to pinch your offer. It may not be as effective the first time, but when you keep doing it, you’ll eventually get used to it. You even make use of emails, social media platforms, surveys, and other ways to reach out to potential clients.

What if you reach out to 100 people already, but less than half of them agree? Then this means you already have 25 names listed as your prospect. What if you reach out to their circle of friends? How many prospects can you potentially earn? Or what if you reach out to a company and ask them if they were hiring? At least 10 companies among the 30 or 50 companies you reached out to might accommodate you and meet with you for an interview.

In the end, you might even get hired by more than a single company. As the company grows larger, so does your probable income. Do you know when all of these happened? ALL THE TIME! Every millionaire knows how to reach out and ask questions, ‘Who Do You Know….‘.

Simple Exercises You Can Follow

Take out your phonebook, and make a list of how many of those numbers really know you by your name, know who you are, and what you do. Then check your social media accounts such as Instagram or Facebook, and look among your list of friends and followers who really have a personal relationship with you. I understand if you cannot get along with anyone on that list.

Finally, reach out to them, and don’t get bothered by how many messages you sent. Expect a considerable amount of rejection when you list out big numbers. But you’ll get surprised at how many people will get back to you and hear you out. Let us know how these exercises turned out, and whether these Amazing things I’ve learned from Millionaire are effective or not.
